1. University of Applied Arts Vienna. The university has a dedicated Institute of Design: an academic research and teaching center offering interdisciplinary practice across various fields of contemporary design. Studies are organized in the form of diploma-based education, with departments acting as "vertical studios," allowing students from all semesters to collaborate on joint artistic and research projects. Graduates are awarded a Master's degree upon passing the diploma examination. 2. University of Innsbruck. The university has a Faculty of Architecture and Design, where students can earn a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree. Students can choose from programs such as design, architecture, civil engineering, and others. The university itself is the largest in western Austria, oriented toward an international level while simultaneously maintaining a local presence. Research-based teaching forms the foundation for students to achieve outstanding results in everyday life and their professional careers.
3. New Design University (Privatuniversität GmbH). The university was founded by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and its Business Development Institute in 2004 as an international educational institution providing quality education in the fields of design, technology, and business. The university offers Bachelor's and Master's programs, as well as part-time professional courses (without a degree); available programs include book design, food design, graphic and information design, and others. As a unique advantage, students can join a special platform (Future Lab), where they can work in interdisciplinary teams on real projects actively implemented by the university's clients.
