A new major merger in the international education market: the British company Sagitter Training has acquired the network of language schools Freeda Language Space in Barcelona and plans to actively develop international programs in Spain.
For Sagitter, this is not just a business expansion, but part of a broader strategy to strengthen its position in Europe. The company is focusing on international education, language studying, student exchanges, and academic mobility programs. Freeda Language Space currently comprises two language schools in the center of Barcelona with modern infrastructure and the capacity to teach 190+ students simultaneously. The schools now offer Spanish and English language courses for local and foreign students, as well as preparation for international exams, and are members of the FEDELE — Español en España association and accredited by the Instituto Cervantes.
Following the deal, Sagitter Training plans to expand international programs and launch new studying formats: the focus is on Erasmus+, Study Abroad, language internships, Teacher Preparation, and group educational trips. Today, Sagitter Training already operates in London, Dublin, and Barcelona, developing language studying, internship, and international academic mobility programs.
