We offer an overview of the top 50 best dental universities in the world for foreign students. Dentistry courses abroad usually last five years (six if a base year is required), require a high academic and technical level. Dental students will study the causes of diseases, methods of prevention, treatment of diseases of the oral cavity and teeth.
Dentistry is one of the most highly competitive areas among applicants: successful candidates demonstrate high academic grades, adherence to the subject studied, willingness to study for a long time, as well as cognitive abilities, work skills necessary to concentrate for a long period of time.
The first year of study focuses on basic medical and clinical knowledge in anatomy, physiology, oral biology and biochemistry. These academic classes will continue throughout the study period, but hands-on guided work will begin towards the end of the first year of study.
