Westfield School Newcastle — a private day school offering full secondary education programs: from the pre-school department to Sixth Form. It features a distinctive educational format: in pre-school and primary classes, boys and girls attend lessons together, while from the middle school stage onward, the school focuses exclusively on the education of girls.

Founded by a group of parents in 1960, Westfield School has long specialized in girls' education, with the first admission of boys into pre-school groups and Years 1–6 taking place only in 2025. The primary goal throughout all years of Westfield School's existence has been and remains the all-round development, discovery of individual talents, and enhancement of the abilities of young women. To achieve the best results, a supportive atmosphere is created where there is no room for a "tendency" toward any subject or activity based on gender — girls excel in sciences and humanities, compete in team sports, devote time to various arts, and participate in academic and social events.

The academic system of Westfield School includes three stages:

• Junior School — from 3 to 11 years old,

The school does not have its own residence and does not provide a housing search service.

Students are provided with high-quality, balanced meals from an extensive menu featuring national and international cuisine, including vegetarian and vegan options. Dishes are prepared from seasonal ingredients by full-time chefs who pay individual attention to the taste preferences of each student. If desired, students may bring packed lunches and snacks from home.

The rich extracurricular development program includes dozens of creative, sports, social, and academic directions. Starting from a young age, students participate in school-wide events: concerts, dance performances, sports competitions, and themed celebrations to showcase their talents.

From Year 7 onwards, students have the opportunity to take part in outdoor adventure activities — students experience camping for several days at Lake District centres, engaging in exploration of the surrounding area, sports, and team projects.

Westfield School is located in Gosforth, a suburb of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, occupies a green area, and includes three building complexes — for the separate education of preschool, middle, and senior division students. Each building consists of classrooms, recreational and academic spaces equipped in accordance with the age of the pupils. Younger groups have access to open outdoor play areas, a number of creative studios and multipurpose classrooms where they engage in clay modelling, drawing, and studying the basics of language and mathematics, as well as to some facilities of the senior building: science laboratories, a computer room, a dining hall, and tennis and netball courts.

The academic year runs from September to the end of May. Classes are held Monday through Friday:

• Junior groups: from 8:30 to 15:40 Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 to 15:15 on Fridays,
• Middle and senior classes: from 8:30 to 15:40 Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 to 15:10 on Fridays.

After lessons, students participate in extracurricular development activities; extended care service is available for preschool students. Rest is organized on weekends and public holidays, and during seasonal school breaks.

Academic reports for the last two academic years are also required, along with any records of individual achievements or special needs, if applicable.
