King’s School the Crown opened in 2023 in 6th October City near Cairo. This is King’s College School group's first project in Egypt, created in partnership with Inspired Education Group and Palm Hills Developments.

The school operates on the British educational model; a child can begin their education at the preschool stage and continue through to the graduating years within a single educational environment. The curriculum is based on the English national system and includes preparation for the international IGCSE examinations and the two-year A Level programme; a diploma programme pathway is also available for upper-year students.

King's School the Crown has a comprehensive student support system: it includes class tutors, subject teachers, and specialists responsible for children's comfort and emotional well-being.

Parents regularly receive feedback, participate in consultations, and review written progress reports at the end of each term.

Senior students receive help choosing a country and university, identifying suitable subjects for admission, selecting summer programs, and developing a university application strategy.

The campus covers more than 40,000 m², and includes classrooms, spaces for younger students, a library, music rooms, relaxation and independent study areas, as well as dedicated facilities for the senior school and Sixth Form. Students have access to shared spaces where they can study, socialize, play, and relax between classes.

The campus sports infrastructure is designed for both regular physical education lessons and school team training sessions and extracurricular activities. The grounds include a full-size football pitch used for training, friendly matches, and sporting events, and a 400-metre running track equipped for athletics. Aquatic sports are represented by a covered 25-metre, 8-lane swimming pool suitable for training and competitions, as well as a separate teaching pool for younger students and beginner swimmers. Inside the campus there is a covered sports hall used for team games, training, and school sports programmes throughout the year, along with outdoor courts for tennis and volleyball.

For creative and performing arts events, the school has a 524-seat theatre where performances, concerts, musical recitals, public events, and school celebrations are held.

The academic year is divided into three terms: autumn, spring and summer. Orientation days take place before classes begin, and short holidays are scheduled in the first two terms.

Based on the results, King's School the Crown may offer a place, conditional enrollment, placement on a waiting list, or rejection. To confirm admission, the family must sign an agreement and make the required payments.

Graduates enter prestigious universities around the world: Russell Group and Ivy League universities, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Cambridge and Oxford, Imperial and University College London, London School of Economics, Bocconi, Sciences Po and the University of Hong Kong. According to Inspired Education Group, 90% of graduates from Inspired network schools enter their first-choice university.

When applying to King's School the Crown, the school considers the child's age, level of English proficiency, academic background, and readiness to study on the British curriculum. Candidates must meet age requirements, demonstrate consistent academic results, and be prepared to adapt to the academic workload.

The following documents are required for application:

• the child's birth certificate or passport,
• the most recent school report,
• medical records and vaccination documents,
• photographs of the child,
• parents' documents,
• for foreign families — a residence permit in Egypt or confirmation of having submitted an application for one.

All documents must be submitted in English or accompanied by a certified translation.

The assessment format depends on the child's age. For younger pupils, the school conducts observation and familiarisation with the learning environment in a gentler, play-based format. Candidates for senior classes take entrance assessments in English and mathematics, as well as verbal and non-verbal reasoning tasks, and quantitative and spatial skills tests. Entry into the Sixth Form typically requires at least five GCSEs with grades A*–C or 9–4, including English and mathematics.

King’s School the Crown participates in the international scholarship program Nsouli Scholars Programme, created by Inspired Education Group: the program is named after the founder of the network, Nadim Nsouli, and provides full funding for talented students at Inspired schools around the world.
